To provide assistance through education and counseling to applicants throughout the certification process in order to build a certified vendor pool for member entities.
It is the policy of all the public entities which are part of the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA) that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Woman-owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) have the maximum practical opportunity to participate in their contracting and purchasing activities.
Certification is a critical component of their programs to assist disadvantaged, minority and woman-owned business enterprises in the public entities' procurement activities. The North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency is solely committed to ensuring that bona-fide disadvantaged, minority and woman-owned firms, benefit from the programs offered by the member entities.

As a part of the paperless directive initiated by the NCTRCA Board of Directors, effective October 1, 2016 the NCTRCA will no longer accept paper/hard copies of the M/WBE annual update or renewal nor the ACDBE/DBE no change affidavit. These applications must be submitted via the online application portal: https://nctrca.mwdbe.com.
Let it further be known effective January 1, 2017, ALL applications must be submitted through this website. New applications, annual updates/renewals, and No Change Affidavits must be submitted through the online application portal at https://nctra.mwdbe.com.
